A new feature is in the planning stages at Drone HQ and we're looking for people to contribute.
The Idea
A bi-monthly downloadable magazine (with the real possibility of moving into print depending on its success), with each issue focusing on a particular theme. These will range from certain bands, seminal and cherished albums, revered genres, to social and musical movements and events, cultural scenes, and particular moments in time.
What We Are Looking For
- Quality written pieces including personal recollections and editorials, analysis and criticism, narrative and inspired-by notes and stories.
- Inspired-by artwork and graphics, photographs, visuals.
We're aiming high with the first issue, focusing on one of the most influential bands in rock and roll: My Bloody Valentine. Distinct, emotional, innovative, timeless, those who love MBV possess a pure passion unlike anything else. The music isn't just great, it's tied up in our histories, melded with memories and nostalgic emotions.
