I'm sitting on my lounge, lappy on lap, cat underneath feet, Hogan's Heroes on television (reminds me of coming home from school as a nine year old - it was always on) and so excited that I'm finally getting to share this event with my precious readership.Over the last few months, my good friends at Music Feeds in Sydney and myself have been organising a gig in Melbourne I'm extremely proud to put Drone's name on.
November 19, at the Tote in Collingwood - a few of my favourite Aussie bands performing; The Black Ryder - their last show for the year, and their first since the release of their album in a couple of weeks; Slight of Build, Dreaming of Ghosts - two fantastic - FANTASTIC - local acts adding so much depth to our thriving psych and shoegaze scene... And also travelling all the way from Sydney, Killed Two Birds.
It's only $12 AND included in that price is Drone's very own foray into the world of print publishing. I'll have more on the first issue very, very soon.
